My personal journey
I’m a filmmaker based in Odense, Denmark. I’m a creative person who grew up between places and cultures. As a child, we moved from Ecuador to Spain, and since then, stories have helped me build bridges between the culture we left behind and the one we were joining.
After finishing film school in Spain in 2016, I moved to Odense, Denmark, to work for a local TV production company called TVDOT. After three years as a camera operator and video editor, I decided to embark on my own journey as a videographer and marketing expert.
Since leaving film school, I believed I didn’t have a place in the film industry. However, during the hectic year of 2020, I found my voice as a filmmaker.
It all started with a letter. My sister asked me to write a letter for her as a Christmas gift, with wishes for her future. I wanted to tell her about our family history, about resilience, hard work, and the challenges we have faced in the past, so that when she faces challenges in the future, she can find strength in our stories.
Afterward, I realized that there weren’t many stories like ours in the media. Finally, I understood that if I wanted to see stories about people like me and the people I know, then I should start telling them.
I could be the change that I wanted to see.
Let’s bring new and diverse stories to the world

My mission
My mission as a filmmaker is to create an inclusive space in my stories, where diversity and inclusion are the norms, not the exception. I aim to give a voice to those who lack representation, both in front of and behind the camera.
"I believe that stories in the media should reflect the diversity of our world and serve as a bridge that connects us as human beings."
Diversity
An authentic representation of the diversity of gender, race and sexuality in the world is something that could help our audiences understand what is unknown to them and create empathy that could bring us all together.
That is how we can provide a greater service to our audiences.
Inclusion
If we put together diverse teams, behind and in front of the camera, then we can guarantee to show the diversity of our world.
Honesty
If we keep the same people in front and behind the camera and the same creative process, there can’t move forward.
Great films are made with a team that feels safe together and trust each other.
Sustainability
Films are great communication tools and I believe that filmmakers have the responsibility to use it appropriately, thinking about the social and environmental impact they have.
