This is a story about surviving a male dominated industry and finding strength where you least expect it. Tina Robinson makes a living fighting. When she moved to Denmark, she was one of a handful living from stage fighting. In an industry where men are expected to do a better job, Tina had to work twice as much to prove that she was just as good as her male counterparts. In the end, this mattered very little when she was fired from a job because according to them – “it was historically incorrect that women fought in the past”. 

This moment inspired a lifelong quest. Determined to prove that women have fought in the past, Tina began her research with the Amazons. Since her search started, she has found many examples of women warriors. The long gone stories of female samurais and elite African warriors inspired her to keep going through the toughest moments. Now she is on a mission to educate the world about all the warrior women she has found in history who are just like her.
